What is Child Safety Alarm?
Ever had an instance where you child wandered away and you had to search frantically to get hold of him? Often, kids go missing in malls, amusement parks as they are vulnerable to lose adult attention. To prevent this, parents can use a child safety alarm.
Child safety alarm is a device which is used to track the child when he/she wanders away. It consists of a receiver in the form of a toy, watch etc. and can be clipped to the child. The transmitter comes with a key chain – carried by the parent.
How Child Safety Alarm Works?
The parent can press the button on transmitter when the child wanders away. The receiver present with the child produces a high-pitched alarm, which can alert the parent or people around the child. A child can even press the button to alert parents, when threatened by a stranger. The child safety alarm works when the child is within a distance of 150 feet or more, depending upon the device model. Some child safety alarms also boast of a flashlight that is activated along with the alarm.
