Gruber, Linda May Fitzerald in “Children at Home and Day Care” hold the view that home child care provides the child with a secure environment and personal attention. The parent can regulate the behavior of the care taker. The question that arises is why should one prefer to have home childcare?

Shelov and Robert E Hannemann, in “ Caring for your Baby and Young Child- from birth to age 5” hold the view that one should have a home care provider who is right for the child and your style of rearing the child. One must checkout on her approach to discipline, feeding and scheduling. Obviously, home care for the child does appear to be a convenient option for the child.
