Its madness every morning, running around, getting kids up and ready for school. All mothers experience this at some point of their lives or others. It’s even worse for working mothers. Here are some tips that would help you get your kids up and ready every morning easily.

  1. Have a distinct routine – One of the most prominent reasons of morning madness is not having a distinct wake-up routine. You need to go to sleep on time every night to wake up on time. Kids who don’t sleep on time every night have problems waking up at the same time everyday. You need to make sure your kids get enough sleep, say seven to eight hours everyday.
  2. Sleepiest First – If you have more than one kids, start with the sleepyhead first who takes longer to wake up.
  3. Conquer Clothing Wars – Most kids waste time finding clothes or deciding what to wear. You could save a lot of time by planning a day in advance what the kids would be wearing. You can keep aside all their clothes, accessories and necessities together. If your child is real choosy you could ask him/her in advance if she/he is fine with your choice.
  4. Breakfast Boos – Moms also face the problems of kids cribbing over breakfast. You could conquer this problem by having a weekly breakfast menu. If you are planning something special for breakfast, you could make preparations in advance like chopping the vegetables etc.
  5. Packing Backpacks – If your children packed their backpacks right in advance at night they could save a lot of time in the morning.
  6. Using the Loo – Kids often fight for who goes to the washroom first. You can tackle this problem by waking one kid earlier than the other so that he uses the washroom well in advance and the other kid can go in a little later.
  7. Set a good example – If you are a late riser and morning whiner your kid is likely to become one too. So set a positive example.
