Many parents are distressed with their child’s habit of biting others. Some pre-school toddlers end up biting the other kids around at the slightest disappointment and provocation. Parents often wonder what to do with such behavior. You could follow these simple tips –
- You should firmly and assertively tell your child NOT to bite anyone.
- Tell your child that if he bites anyone you will do away with his favorite toy
- You could shower positive attention and pamper the child who is bitten to make your child a little jealous and sorry.
- Watch your kid’s interaction with others closely in order to prevent your child from entering in conflict that may result in biting.
- Never teach your child to take revenge or bite someone in return of his misbehavior.
