If you observe closely, children have the habit of jamming all their activity in their bedroom. They can spend hours playing games, hiding their precious possessions, reading, listening to music or even wrestling.
Left to themselves they can find anything interesting and that will keep them engaged for long. Well, here is a chance for parents to bond with the fantasies of their little ones. Do this by designing their bedrooms in a way, so as to make their dreams come alive.
Tips to decorate your son’s bedroom:
- Paint the ceiling black or dark blue and glue stars and heavenly bodies that will glow at night.
- Paint the walls with the colors of your son’s choice and hang cars, planes or trains on the sides. Your son would love to imagine a trip on any one of them.
- Have enough space to accommodate toys in his bedroom.
- Create a border with stencil or wall paper and have circus figures and clowns drawn in them. Make sure that the color and print on the bedsheets and pillow cover matches with these hilarious figures.
- Paint the walls with a jungle theme with cardboard papers and sketches. Make those figures come alive for your little one.
- Maintain a play area with plenty of books for your kid. Let them be fun and colorful.
- Paint the walls with shades of violet and blue to give the feel of wizards and dragons. Attach pictures of wizards and dragons all over the walls and fetch them matching bedsheets and pillow cover as well.
- Place stuffed dinosaurs toys all around the room and make it an educational experience for your son. Also have several books and cut outs of dinosaurs in his bedroom.

- Have the walls painted with golden angels and white fairies.
- Hang and paint colorful posters of clods and rainbows.
- Have dolls and teddy bears placed on the window sills and at all corners to make the room look warm and friendly.
- Paint he walls blue and capture the life of underwater sea creatures for your little daughter.
- Have stuff toys and wall hangings of Disney characters and paint the background with lively and bright colors.
Make these few hours fun and learning for your little one by using bright and colorful fabric and materials to decorate the bedroom of your child.
