Early Detection of child diseases

Posted on October 25, 2007 in latest news

A healthy child is everyone’s delight due to its happy and cheerful disposition. But physical troubles change the way a child behaves. The inability to express in words leads infants to behave in some particular ways if they feel distressed. Parents, especially mothers, need to know those signs so that they can detect the diseases in their infants as early as possible.

Water in the Head:

This is a very common malady with infants. As initial symptoms your child will frown and will have contraction of forehead. If it affects a child then heat head, grinding the teeth, fixed eyes, screaming, cold leg, scanty motion etc can be seen in the child’s behaviors.

Stomach pain:

In case infants have pain in the belly, they will show teeth by drawing their lips apart. This is a clear indication of some problems in the belly.

Chest pain or breathing problem:

If an infant has chest pain it makes its nostrils upward and downward in quick succession. The reason of this action might also be breathing problem.

Convulsion:

In case of convulsion there will be a noticeable change in the countenance of the child. You can also find slightly bluish or livid lips and a pale face.

Motion:

If a child is having motion its face will become pale or sallow or sunken. Lying upon its back with the knees bent up to the belly the infant’s tongue will be weighed down.

Eyes of a child:

A healthy child’s eye is very clear. If you miss that clearness in your baby’s eyes then there is some physical problem that it is suffering from.

Stool:

Stool of a child can also clearly show its physical condition. Generally child stool is light yellowish in color. It has mild smell and is smooth in appearance. Any discrepancies in stool like change of color or having bad smell etc. are clear indicators of its physical discomfort.

Any change in child gesture also indicates the illness of the child. Generally infants are very cheerful. Therefore, a gloomy disposition or a nagging behavior means the child is not well. Once you detect the disease in your child consult a doctor immediately.
