Finding a childcare center for nursing babies is not a Herculean task. Here are some simple recommendations which will help you find an appropriate care center for the apple of your eye.
- Find a sitter who also breastfed.
They are the most supportive and understanding of your situation and will probably try best to accommodate to your requests.
- Have a sitter or nanny come to your home.
This way your child is exposed to less illness. Also, your baby is allowed to stay on the schedule you prefer, and not the daycare’s schedule. You wouldn’t have to face any problems or tensions regarding your baby when the daycare centre is closed.
- Try to work some from home.
This is one of the best ways of staying close to your baby. Try working from home this way you will be able to breastfeed your baby regularly. If working from home is not possible, search for a daycare centre that is close to your office. This way you will be able to breastfeed your baby during break times.
- Do a background check.
If you are looking into a daycare, do a lot of research! It is mandatory that you do a complete research about the daycare where you would be sending your child. Not everybody can be trusted these days.
- Do not forget your friends.
There will be times when work may seem to get very hectic. At those times ask a friend or a close acquaintance who are a stay-at-home mom to look after your baby. They will be very happy to do it, as they will be getting some extra spending money and also you will have lot of peace of mind as your kids are in good hands.
