Progeria stiffens the walls of arteries, restricting the flow of blood to heart and brain. This condition leads the child to cardiovascular abnormalities.
Treatment for Progeria:

Though Progeria is not a curable disease, regular cardiovascular check-ups help manage the progression of the disease. Sometimes coronary artery bypass surgery or dilation of cardiac arteries (angioplasty) is also suggested by the doctors to slow down the progression of the disease.
